This site is dedicated to collecting memories about childrens games, rhymes and songs in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. No comprehensive historical record exists of any of these activities in the two counties. In order to make sure that they are recorded before they disappear this web site has been set up by John Turrell as part of a research project in association with the University of Worcester. If you can remember any of the games you played in the playground or the street and the songs and rhymes you used while you were playing them please add them to the collection on this site by clicking on the --Contribute Memory-- button.
